All statistics on this website are based on the database of 257 organs as described on this site in 2018. Organs which have been removed or of which only the case survived, have been deleted from this database. It has to be mentioned that the written sources used did not cover the most recent decades, which may have result in an underreport of recent activities of organ builders. In addition, in a few cases (some chapels or temples), the presence of the organ could not be verified as yet. This means that the number of organs could be slightly less or more than the number of 257.
